A Letter From The Founder
To an Exciting New Year
Dear Customers & Friends,
As we all start a new year, I wanted to reach out to you with a personal message and thank you for continuing this journey with us.
In the past twelve months, we’ve made great strides in expanding our offer and global reach. Despite well-known and persistent macro challenges, we came together to continue delivering the level of quality and service you expect from us. Today I’m excited to share with you some of the achievements of the past year and the many good things that lie ahead for 2023.
A GROWING RANGE
We expanded our range to include new items that complement our permanent wardrobe, adding to the array of stylish staples we always envisioned.
We launched our very first ‘capospalla’, a sartorial blazer crafted in Northern Italy from pure brushed cashmere that has been an instant hit. Our bottoms range has also grown and now includes denim wear, with a choice of light and dark jeans and elegant pure virgin wool trousers: a versatile style, tailored in Italy by expert hands.
All our top lines in brushed cotton, linen, cashmere and our t-shirts are now available in more colours, while our shirting offer welcomed a brand new model in cashmere-cotton, our most luxurious shirt to date.
We are trying to create a wardrobe that looks timeless while feeling contemporary and dynamic and so we launched more accessories to play with, from cashmere and linen baseball caps to suede gloves and belts: style accents for that understated, Italian touch.
RETAIL EXPANSION
In 2022, in addition to our existing stores in London, NYC and Stockholm, we landed on the high streets of Milan and Munich while preparing the ground for next month’s new opening, Miami. The three new stores follow the new retail concept designed by Turin-based architect Davide Barreri, a welcoming space where our clients and their families can relax in a stylish environment that feels functional, elegant and homely.
Each new store's interiors reference the local architectural heritage, with great attention to every detail, from furniture - custom pieces crafted in Italy - to shelves in Carrara marble and artisanal mannequins, also made in Italy from sustainably sourced wood. If you haven’t experienced it yet, we’re looking forward to welcoming you.
THE YEAR AHEAD
This year we’ll continue our commitment to a more sustainable clothing industry, putting our promise to our customers and the planet front and center. Our approach naturally advocates for a slower-pace, more conscious buying mindset that puts garments’ longevity first.
While our online boutique will remain our main channel, in the next twelve months we’ll work hard to debut on more exciting global markets with new retail locations. In parallel, we’ll cherry-pick new product categories in our expertise areas to complete the Luca Faloni total look.
Finally, we’ll strengthen our already agile value chain with the launch of a state-of-the-art quality control center in Bergamo, to maintain and improve our high standards as we grow.
Delivering uncompromising quality in the form of understated elegance is what we’ve been doing for the past eight years and 2023 will be no different. I send you my best wishes for the new year and invite you to continue this journey with us, with fun and style in equal measure.
