Our knitwear is crafted from pure, two-ply cashmere from the renowned Cariaggi fine yarns collection. A guarantee for outstanding softness and durability.
In the heart of the verdant Marche Apennine Mountains of Italy, the Cariaggi yarn factory harbours expertise reaching back over three generations. For 60 years, they have been selecting premium fibres and employing sophisticated technology and environmentally-friendly production methods in order to craft their exceptionally soft yet durable cashmere; proudly made in Italy from start to finish.
Cariaggi’s international reputation for excellence begins with their dedication to sourcing the finest fibres. They work closely with a family of shepherds in Inner Mongolia who considerately rear Capra Hircus Laniger goats. The flock, which grazes freely across the vast surrounding landscape, is monitored not only to ensure the origin and superior quality of the raw material, but also to protect the welfare of the territory, shepherds and animals.
The specific climate of Inner Mongolia promotes the growth of a ‘duvet’; an exquisite fibre known for its natural thermoregulatory characteristics and exceptional softness. Such a superior natural fibre deserves to be spun and dyed with care, a notion reflected in Cariaggi’s craftsmanship.
